As a yoga studio owner who quickly adapted to teaching online, Cincopa played a role in transforming LYFE Yoga into a virtual space with the guidance of their tech expert, Wade Thiessen. I chose Cincopa because they offer the essential tools my business needs to provide recorded live stream classes to our loyal subscribers.
  • Editing Editing Editing - Cincopa allows video trimming without creating a new file.
  • Private galleries for students to access their own library of recorded classes.
  • Dropbox integration
  • Storage space
  • Sorting Videos within individual private libraries
What sets Cincopa apart from other video hosting sites is the option for me to create a customized branding library that can be seamlessly integrated with my website or presented directly through Cincopa. Additionally, their integration with my Dropbox account and video editing tools make it effortless to trim videos and ensure the best start and end times. Ultimately, each subscriber enjoys their personalized library of recorded classes seamless integrated with my business colors and LYFE Yoga's logo.

My marketing agency was hired to build a catalogue site for an audio equipment dealer. Over the course of discovery, we settled on using BigCommerce as a platform. One issue we didn't realize was the difference between page designs on the website and product pages versus the internal blog pages. We decided to utilize Cincopa to offer a gallery on content (blog) articles that would allow for a quick solution that worked better than writing custom software or intricate CSS files to facilitate multiple images in BigCommerce blog pages. As much of our client's website relies on multiple high-quality images, we needed a solution that loaded quickly, looked great, and was easy to embed or integrate. We found that in Cincopa.
  • Set-Up: Setting up the galleries is mostly a drag-and-drop process that makes it easy for laymen (or interns) to easily format and put together, without a lot of coding knowledge or experience.
  • Integration: With multiple options for integration, Cincopa allows you to control how the calls are made. Since it is a script-based import with its own container, it actually makes it easy to drop into nearly any webpage with little to no additional fussing.
  • Options: Cincopa offers a great deal of gallery templates that can be used for images, videos, playlists, etc. The templates offer unique presentations and functions, and each template gives you additional control over the appearance of each gallery.
  • In my experience, the drag-and-drop functionality when re-ordering a gallery has a tendency to break. This is either a complicated lock-up (something to do with the visualization) or being treated as text and only highlighting instead of moving.
  • Many of the tool tips (?) don't explain the option well, often just repeating the available option. This isn't a major factor as some of the option effects can be figured out through trial and error, but it was something that I noticed during my first set-up.
I would say that Cincopa is a first-stop for any dev project without an internal gallery option. This is especially true if the person in charge of content or building the galleries is not a coder. Cincopa makes designing a good looking gallery and inserting it into nearly any webpage a pretty simple process, so it is a great starting place. There may be other options that would fit a different development project better (internal gallery functions or a full-scale DAM with importable galleries), but for our purposes Cincopa was (and is) a perfect fit.

I manage hundreds of websites. Every now and then I have a client who has some very specific needs for the website. Specifically requests for specialty photo galleries and file storing. I have found Cincopa to be a super easy tool to manage dozens of galleries for dozens of different clients with one login. Additionally, Cincopa provides simple iFrame embed code to easily add to ANY website.
  • Connects to Zapier
  • Great customer support
  • Massive photo gallery templates to choose from
  • The majority of the time I get immediate response when I have a question, but sometimes it can be a couple hour delay.
When you or a client has specialty photo gallery needs and you want a VERY easy way to create, manage, and publish galleries on any website.

We use Cincopa to host a video on one of our apartment property websites. This is being used by the marketing department. This service makes it so easy to add a video to our website, and the variety of player templates to choose from is a really nice touch! You can customize the player to add brand colors, logos, etc. Exactly what I was looking for!
  • Customization: you can choose from a variety of player templates and change a lot of backend things like automatic playing, sizing, colors, etc.
  • Cincopa is really easy to use, and you don't have to know much about video hosting or adding them to your website to get how it works.
  • The customer service team is really responsive and contacts you as soon as you sign up to find out what your business goals are and how they can help.
  • I can't think of any areas of improvement that I would recommend.
  • I think the service is easy to use.
  • I haven't had any issues with video hosting so far!
Cincopa is perfect to host videos ad free on your website or to share anywhere online. You can also use it for photo galleries, slideshows, music players, podcasts, plugins, etc.!

My Cincopa Review

Our corporate communications department uses Cincopa to host photo galleries and audio files, which we turn into podcast playlists. Cincopa allows us to easily drop an embed code into our CMS, rather than code original galleries ourselves. It's a plug and play.
  • I like that Cincopa has many gallery design options.
  • I've never had a problem with a Cincopa embed code. It works every time.
  • Omer, at Cincopa, is always responsive to my emails.
  • Cincopa only allows for one size of photo. For example, if I want to include a vertical photo and a horizontal one, I have to have the Cincopa team custom-code this feature for me. It should be an out-of-box feature.
  • Our designer had to put some parameters in Cincopa, so that the galleries fit in well with our website. It's not intuitive to the average person.
  • The analytics are very lacking. We have a podcast page where about four to five podcast series live, but the analytics are the same for all of those series because Cincopa only records when someone sees the first slide of a gallery, not individual slides. So, there's no way to know if one podcast is more popular than the other. And, since Cincopa is an iframe, we can't gather this data with Google Analytics either.
Cincopa is great if you need a photo gallery embed. If you want robust analytics, slide shows with multiple sized photos and an intuitive plug-and-play option, it'll work but not perfectly.

Our editorial department is using Cincopa as an interim solution to provide a multimedia experience to users on our existing site, while we gear up to building a site that will allow us to do this natively on the site. Cincopa has helped us create more dynamic, engaging experiences for content that has the potential for visual richness.
  • Cincopa is user-friendly from the upload process of slideshows to the editing process.
  • Cincopa embeds work well on our site.
  • Cincopa allows us to add calls to action right on the slideshow itself.
  • Sizing the embeds for iframe use can be tricky — the photo menu along the bottom doesn't always appear and it takes some playing with.
If you have an outdated website where it's not easy to create dynamic, visual experiences natively, and need to do something to interrupt the "wall of text" experience for your users, Cincopa is a great, user-friendly way to do it. It's cost-effective and easy to get team members excited about trying.

We're a newspaper, and we use Cincopa to host photo slideshows on our website. Our site by default could not do slideshows, which had been a problem for several years, and Cincopa worked nicely to make that possible.
  • Ease of use: Just upload photos and then paste the link onto your website.
  • Design is good and flexible if you want to try different looks.
  • Support has been good for me in limited use with it. No problems.
  • Vertical photos are handled funny in the slideshows I've done. They increase the size of the whole slide instead of fitting into the same width as horizontal photos with black around the edges, which is what I'd prefer.
If you need a gallery on your website, this is an easy way to do it.

The New School uses Cincopa as the delivery system for our university slideshows. We utilize their API to deliver the images to our own custom built and designed slideshows tools. We love the simplicity of the upload process and how we can assign different users to manage their own uploads.
  • Image Uploads
  • Robust API for import and export purposes
  • Image titles and captions are supported
  • Analytics on individual images
  • Easy mass delete tools
Great if you just need a storage service that can output slideshows on demand.

Cincopa is used to run a user-generated image gallery on one of our organisation's public web pages. We use an internal discord server to submit content via Zapier, which is then uploaded for public consumption.
  • It looks great on the website.
  • It's one of the few solutions that integrates with Zapier in the way we wanted
  • It's fairly easy to use and set up
  • View limit for the free plan could be higher to improve testing
  • It would be good if there were even more options for the gallery layout
It works very well for displaying a media gallery on a website with content that's updated from elsewhere. As mentioned earlier, it's very useful thanks to the integration with Zapier. It's good for applications that require regular content updates. However, it might be unnecessary if you only want a basic solution (a static web page with permanent content, for example).

We are using Cincopa to supplement a content management system required for use by a business partner that isn't very robust in terms of features it offers. The CMS we are using offers specific marketing features but does not include anything to support rotating banner images. Cincopa fills a huge void with us being able to take existing and new images and implement them along with messaging into our organization's website.
  • Cincopa provides an easy to use interface that allows or efficient creation of projects.
  • Cincopa interacts with a variety of content management systems including the two primary systems my organization uses and allows smooth transition from creation to implementation.
  • Cincopa allows for the creation of multiple projects with varying styles to fit our specific needs.
  • Cincopa offers a few different styles of transition and presentation but I would like to see more.
  • The creation of projects flows fairly well from design to viewing a preliminary snapshot, but I would like to see an easier way to have an updated view of my project in process.
  • I would appreciate a library of sample images to choose from with a basic subscription.
Cincopa is well suited to content management systems that allow for raw code to be inserted. I would like to see it partner with recognized platforms like Weebly or Wix to have an element created that would allow creation of the projects from within the content management system. This would reduce the time needed to create projects with one stop as it were.
